Magen Shaughnessy DVM, DipACVS-SA

Dr. Magen Shaughnessy graduated with her DVM from Colorado State University in 2013. She completed a rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery at the University of Wisconsin- Madison in 2014. Following this, she completed a residency in small animal surgery at Michigan State University in 2017. She received the Dr. Arthur D. Marosi Resident Award for excellence in surgery and teaching. She specializes in orthopedic and soft tissue surgery. Particular surgical interests include upper airway surgery, thoracic surgery, wound reconstruction, and fracture repair.
Krista Gazzola DVM, DipACVS-SA

Dr. Krista Gazzola grew up in New Hampshire on a small horse farm. She graduated from Mississippi State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2010, and remained at Mississippi State for her rotating medical and surgical internship. She joined Michigan State University for a small animal surgical research fellowship and went on to complete her small animal surgery residency at Michigan State University in 2016. Dr Gazzola was assistant professor of small animal surgery at Michigan State before entering private practice. Dr Gazzola has special interests in orthopedic surgery, fracture repair, maxillofacial trauma, working dogs and canine athletes, and polytrauma.
Andrew Armstrong, DVM, DipACVS-SA

Dr. Andrew Armstrong graduated with his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Colorado State University in 2010. He was Officer in Charge at the Andrews Air Force Base Veterinary Treatment Facility from 2010-2012 and Officer in Charge at Okinawa Veterinary Activit from 2012-2015. Following this, he completed a residency in small animal surgery at Michigan State University in 2018.
